Bare Metal Restore


Bare-metal restore is a technique in the field of data recovery which gives you the ability to restore a system from "bare metal", i.e. to another machine without the previously installed software or settings. Bare-metal restore differs from simple data backups where application data, but not the actual applications or the operating system are backed up or restored as a unit.
